About the Artist

Grace D is a Black and Japanese recording and visual artist based in the Bay Area. Her work explores the space between sound and image, drawing from personal experiences. Beyond her individual practice, she serves as the President of the Board for Oakland Arts for Kids, supporting arts education in Oakland schools. As a former educator, she is deeply committed to nurturing creativity in young people and advocating for access to the arts as a vital tool for self-expression and community building.
